This is the earliest PBGB recording that appears anywhere on our blog site. We recorded it in 2007 through a single microphone hung from the ceiling and plugged into a clunky ex-garage sale Tascam 4 track tape recorder that, as you will hear, we never did quite conquer.
In the early days, visits to The Shed by the likes of Kev, Tinsley and Col were rightly regarded as ‘Superseshes’. Put those guys in The Shed, and, with a little bit of help from the Beer Fridge, sparks soon begin to fly !
Let The Good Times Roll was written by Sam Theard and Fleecie Moore, and our version is a cover of that recorded by Louis Jordan ( Fleecie’s husband ) in 1946. We featured versions of the song on two of our early cds and tend to include it in our live repertoire – a great party starter !

"Signs Of Life" All original songs on the second album by Neil Porter our guitarist and tech-geek - he has a unique style of writing and singing - high quality production. Just a good listen really. PBGB
