This is a 2008 recording of perhaps the most frequently covered of all Robert Johnson’s songs.
We post it to give Tins another run on the PBGB blog, mindful that earlier PBGB recordings with Tinsley were done on the old tape recorder – whereas this one was one of our early attempts at digital recording.
Tinsley Waterhouse Esq (in the black hat) is a sight to behold as he winds up the vocal chords and lets fly. On this spirited, balls and all demolition of Dust My Broom, Tins really belts it out, and in doing so takes relative PBGB newcomers ( at the time ) Neil Porter, Gus Washbourne and Peter Brunt along for a bare knuckle ride.
Hang on !
